Ken Harrison

Position | Systems Engineer, Chicago

I grew up on the Southside of Chicago on 72nd and Perry. I graduated from Deneen Grammar School and Simeon High School. I played 3 different sports and was pretty good in all of them. In my spare time I do a lot of work at my church including serving in our feed the homeless ministry where we go out in the streets with words of spiritual encouragement and a good hot meal for those who are less fortunate.

My favorite thing about MotherG? The flexibility and my co-workers

My Favorite hobby is: Collecting Dolphins (not live ones)

My favorite place to eat? Chi-Tung

My favorite place to go? Church

My favorite place to travel? Hawaii

My most exciting experience is: Being Saved and helping others

My favorite movie of all time is: The Get Away (Steve McQueen)

If I could be any one, I would be: I like being me.

Funniest thing that ever happened to me: My lips got stuck to a pop cycle. I had to walk around downtown Chicago with my lips stuck to it until it started to melt.

The most surprising thing I have ever done: Parasailing. I am afraid of heights and was tied to the back of a boat being high enough where I could see the old Bahama’s Island

The most terrifying experience: Being in the room with all those dead bodies when I did the Ahlgrim & Sons Funeral phone system install.

My favorite place in Chicagoland, or thing about Chicago: Riding my bike along the Chicago lake front early in the morning and watching the sun rise.
